We’ll be down in Margaret River for the weekend. First time we’ve done the whole ‘rent a proper (nice) house with friends’ thing. In the past it’s usually been a camping thing, or a cheap cabin, or staying with my parents, and it’s usually not Margaret River.
But our friends have not discovered much of that area yet, and the cost for the house isn’t bad when shared, so I look forward to showing them some of our favourite spots and discovering some new ones. I’d love to visit Nigli Cave, as I have already been to Jewel, Mammoth and Lake Caves. And we’ll be visiting some wineries, Colonial Brewery and probably the Chocolate Factory (have only been to the one in the Swan Valley!).
We’ll be at Settlers Tavern tomorrow night, as by coincidence a friend’s band is playing: Ramble and the Sleepers.
The house we’re staying at is on a rural property, and 3 minutes drive from the beach.
